The Ward Residents’ Association aims to work in a positive manner with all stakeholders, in order to grow, develop and improve our neighbourhood while maintaining its rich cultural heritage and diversity.

Our new association has been formed to address changes being proposed for our neighbourhood in Guelph’s “Downtown Secondary Plan”.  We continue to work together with the City of Guelph planners and any related developers to help guide their plans as it applies to

The Ward.

Much of our attention is on the high-density residential development being planned on the former WC Woods site, now owned by The Kilmer Brownfield Equity Fund.
